Wet Bar window illuminates the african mahogany bar top, which includes an undermounted stainless steel sink. Matching mahogany cabinets are shown under the bar top. The cabinets may be extended to floor level by modifying the slanted exterior support, if more cabinet space is desired. To the left, we see a cross-section of the shelving alcove, and the optional couch/bed (not included). The crown molding above the alcove, which extends around all four walls, provides a shelf on which to mount indirect lighting. The space between the alcove ceiling and its exterior roof (not shown), provides additional space for downlighting. The 4' wide wall to the left of the bar may be used as a headboard, if the convertible couch were so oriented. This would be used to provide the possibility of mounting a flat screen on a TV rollout in the shelves at the foot of the bed. Natural-finished fir trim provides a warm, luxurious look. AC plywood interior walls are to be painted or faux-finished.
