Floating Desk, of african mahogany, to the left of the entry, is wall-mounted. At left, we see a cross-section of the bookcase alcove, while the closet alcove is shown at right. The crown molding above the alcove, which extends around all four walls, provides a shelf on which to mount indirect lighting. The spaces between the alcove ceilings and their exterior roofs (not shown), provide additional space for downlighting. Natural-finished fir trim provides a warm, luxurious look. AC plywood interior walls are to be painted or faux-finished.
